Definition

InterVarsity is a Christian group on campus. The full name is InterVarsity Christian Fellowhip (IV or IVCF). It's purpose is "to establish and advance at Northwestern University witnessing communities of students and faculty who follow Jesus as Savior and Lord: growing in love for God, God’s Word, God’s people of every ethnicity and culture and God’s purposes in the world.[1] It is composed of 6 chapters; Arts Fellowship, Asian American InterVarsity, Graduate Christian Fellowship, Greek InterVarsity, House on the Rock (Black Campus Ministry) and InterVarsity Christian Fellowship (the multiethnic "large group").
