Part of speech
['es / 'ay / 'o]
The Student Affairs Office is home to the offices of SESP advisers, some SESP staff members, and the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs. Many advisers and staff members have open door policies, meaning that students are welcome to come in and talk if their door is open. The space is commonly used as a place to hang out between classes and for student gatherings such as pre-reg pizza parties.
This term is primarily used by the SESP community.
