Description

A show meant to introduce new members of a Greek organization to the rest of the Greek and wider Northwestern community.

Many traditions at a probate include:

  • Being masked until the end

  • Introduction of bigs and the individuals who guided the members through the intake/pledge process
  • Introduction of selves

Usage

The term is used primarily in the Multicultural Greek Council and National Pan-Hellenic Council communities. It is used both in informal and formal contexts as well as in spoken word and written text.
